Forces of Nature #20

Since August, we have been sharing pictures and stories of people that contribute to building the culture of this place. The aim was to materialise the concept of the bid, Human Nature and its motto "Our nature is human". We are closing the Forces of Nature with an homage from the photographer Paulo Goulart, the author of this series, to his mother.

Ana Goulart is a painter and a craftswoman. She keeps creating something new everyday, always trying new techniques and looking for new challenges. For her, nature is a fundamental way to find balance. Nature is “everything in life, its textures, its colors and smells.” She tends to her garden, where she was photographed, and lives by the sea.
