Human Academy is reaching more people with a parallel programme

Human Academy (HA!) is opening its doors to everyone with a parallel programme that takes place in Coliseu Micaelense, in Ponta Delgada, but will be streamed on Ponta Delgada – Azores 2027’s Youtube and Facebook pages.
The first session is the presentation of the book “Artistic practices, participation and politics”, by Hugo Cruz, and will be presented by Joana Amen and Sofia Botelho. It happens on November 6, between 6 and 7 pm (Azorean time).
The Regional Fund for Science and Technology and Europe Direct Açores will teach about funding for cultural and creative projects on November 11, between 11:30 am and 1pm.
The “Sustainability in the Cultural Sector” theme will be furthered by representatives of Oulu 2026 and Tartu 2024 European Capitals of Culture. The sessions take place on November 21 and 24, respectively, both at 6 pm.
Human Academy is a training programme mainly directed at cultural stakeholders, but open to anyone who wants to participate. The first edition happens in november, in Ponta Delgada, with three actions.
The first training, by Hugo Cruz, will be about "Artistic Practises and Participation" and will take place from November 6 to 9.
From November 11 to 12, consultant and project manager Patrícia Romeiro will teach about "Funding for Cultural and Creative Projects", with a practical component that will guide participants in their own applications.
We close the first edition of HA! with a training on "Sustainability in the Cultural Sector", by the company Sustain Azores, that will take place from November 20 to 25.
All of these training sessions will be in Portuguese language.
