Ponta Delgada-Azores Candidacy for the European Capital of Culture is presented in the French candidate city of Clermont Ferrand 2028

On May 19, the pre-selection process of Ponta Delgada-Azores candidacy is presented in France, at the invitation of Clermont Ferrand, French candidate city for the European Capital of Culture 2028. The Azorean candidacy will be presented by António Pedro Lopes, artistic director of the Azorean candidacy and Luís Brum, representing the Civic Manifesto called "For an European Capital of Culture in the Azores in 2027". The presentation entitled "Sharing Imagination and Taking Responsibility in the Hands" is part of the event „Le Sommet des Sommets“ – 4 days of debate, meetings, exhibitions and good practices in the creation of projects for European Capitals of Culture.
