Today is the last day of applications to Hand in Hand

The applications to the second edition of Hand in Hand, promoted in partnership with Cresaçor (Regional Solidarity Economy Cooperative), end today, at 6pm (Azorean time).
This programme wants to support, with 1.500 euros, nine projects to be developed in the archipelago.
All individuals born or resident in the Azores, companies, cooperatives or cultural associations can participate. The projects should be developed until the 31st of december 2022.
Hand in Hand arose from the Cultural Strategy Ponta Delgada 2030 with the aim of challenging people, informal groups and associations of different activity sectors to submit small cultural, social and educational proposals that will take place in one (or more) of the Azorean islands. The proposals should promote one or more of the following strategic lines: cooperation and collaboration between islands and municipalities; rapprochement of generations; practices of inclusion, active participation and/or empowerment of different communities; relationship between culture and well-being, nature and sustainability; new ways of telling Azorean narratives to the country, to Europe and to the World.
All imaginable formats are suitable, but they should target the fields of art and other activities that create culture in a broad sense, namely workshops, meetings, events, experiences, conversations, exhibitions, shows, poetic events, editions, city games, etc.
This call is open to people from different islands, fields and ages, as long as they are legally habilitated to submit an invoice. We encourage the participation of youngsters over 16 years old.
Selected proposals will be announced on october 1st, on the Ponta Delgada – Azores 2027 and Cresaçor oficial pages.
The regulation and the application form can be found here.
