Ponta Delgada – Azores 2027 participates in Hack 2 Emerge

The Ponta Delgada – Azores 2027 team will participate, on October 21 and 22, in the Hack 2 Emerge event. This year, the event focuses on the Cultural and Creative Industries. This hackathon is promoted by TERINOV, with the support of the Regional Government of the Azores, Angra do Heroísmo's Commerce Chamber, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and, for the first time, FLAD – Luso-American Development Foundation.
This is the third edition of the programming marathon that promotes "the creation of digital solutions that answer society's challenges, rewarding the creative merit and the quality of the technological component of the projects entering the contest".
Ponta Delgada – Azores 2027 will be represented by its communications coordinator, Inês Linhares Dias, who will present the bid and make part of the jury. In the event, Terceira's ambassadors for the ECoC candidacy, Carlota da Silva and Vanessa Canto, will also be present.
In this event, the participants will create digital solutions to some challenges that the Cultural and Creative Industries face. The winning project will be awarded 1.500 euros.
