The Ponta Delgada - Azores candidacy will participate in the The New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels

The team of the Ponta Delgada - Azores 2027, the candidacy for the European Capital of Culture (ECoC) in 2027 was invited by the Regional Fund of Science and Technology to participate in the New European Bauhaus Festival, in Brussels. This year the main questions will be "Can beauty save the world? How can design contribute to a green transition and help us reach the New Green Deal goals?".

The EU Design Days, organised by ERRIN - European Regions Research and Innovation Network, in which the Regional Science and Technology Fund is integrated, promotes lectures, debates and networking opportunities. The event creates a unique platform where researchers and designers meet with stakeholders, politicians and companies from all over Europe.

The New European Bauhaus Festival, organised by the European Commission, gathers citizens from all backgrounds to debate and shape our future landscape. It is an opportunity to explore the values of beauty, sustainability and union of the New European Bauhaus and its power to face social challenges.
